Jordan's Queen Rania took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a glimpse of the family's henna ceremony ahead of Princess Iman bint Abdullah II's wedding, including a shot with the fiancée of Saudi Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II Rajwa Khaled Al-Saif.
So much love in one room! With friends and family at Iman's henna ceremony yesterday," Queen Rania commented on the post, which included pictures of the bride as well as a picture of Al-Saif, who will marry Jordan's crown prince on June 1, in a pink-orange band.
Prior to that, the Queen Rania posted a photo late Tuesday of herself adjusting a gold and white belt around her daughter's waist as part of mother-daughter preparations for the ceremony. It is the same belt that Queen Rania wore at her wedding to King Abdullah II in 1993.
In the photo, the Queen Rania wears a casual black T-shirt and khaki pants, while the bride wears a white sequined dress by Jordanian-Palestinian fashion designer Rima Dahbour.
"The final touches before Iman's henna party tonight," the Queen Rania wrote on Instagram.
The Princess Iman and her beautiful fiancé, Alexandre Thermiotis, will marry on March 12.
"The countdown has begun and preparations for the Royal Jordanian wedding this weekend have begun," the designer posted on Instagram. Queen Rania puts the finishing touches for the henna ceremony on the look of Princess Iman, who will wear the @reemadahbour design for her pre-wedding festivities. We can't wait to see the final look!
Princess Iman is the eldest daughter of King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan, while Thermiotis is the Managing Partner at Venture Capital Fund in New York. He was born in Caracas, Venezuela, in 1994, but is of Greek descent, according to Hello Magazine.
